We are fortunate enough to have Dennis as the Six Penny technician for the last couple of years. Dennis is very pleasant, thorough, knowledgeable and professional. It was nice to see the teamwork between Dennis and Carlos servicing our wood stove. There was not a speck of dust left inside after their cleaning was complete. I had not even turned them on in 3 years maybe 4. I was ready for them to say I needed to replace them. The tech, Hiraldi, was able to clean them up. He had the logs running like new. Communication from the office was terrific. I was surprised to hear they also do HVAC work, I might try them this winter when it is time to service my unit and turn on the heat. The company that has serviced our gas fireplace for many years was bought out and no longer does that, so I looked around and had Sixpenny come. Wow! From the first engagement on the phone with the office until Gerardo came, EVERYTHING was superb. Gerardo was far more thorough than the old company ever was, and discovered they had never opened up the chimney cover, which was causing gas odors to come into the family room. In going to the roof to make sure that was open, he found several bricks loose and a broken chimney crown that was letting water down into the fireplace. He is a complete professional - and a wonderfully nice person to work with. I can't recommend Sixpenny highly enough!
