When my house was built, the original HVAC contractor failed to properly support the furnace vent and improperly installed the flashing on my roof. Over time, the improper installation of my furnace vent caused water leaks, and it also caused the "B Vent" elbow to break just below the ridgeline of my attic roof. Without repair of the vent, my furnace and water heater were not usuable. Moreover my attic could have filled with poisonous carbon monoxide fumes. Sixpenney Chimney Sweeps quickly and professionally repaired my furnace vent, thereby restoring the heat and hot water to my house. I contacted 10 HVAC contractors, and only Briggs HVAC, which is affiliated with Sixpenney Chimney Sweeps, was the only one willing to repair my furnace vent. I had the furnace vent replaced from the floor of my attic to the termination cap above my roof. The repair was further complicated by the fact that original manufacturer of the vent was no longer in business and replacement parts were nearly impossible to obtain. My roofing contractor said that Dennis, the installer from Sixpenney Chimney Sweeps, did an amazing job.
